Learning and applying a basic problem-solving framework and applying basic Lean principles, every supervisor and manager can greatly improve their problem-solving effectiveness.

Problem Solving Essentials VIRTUAL CLASSROOM DESCRIPTION

This class requires between 1 and 2 hours per week of independent, self-paced e-Learning for 4 weeks, with live 90-minute virtual sessions each week to reinforce and practice what was learned in the e-Learning.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification VIRTUAL CLASSROOM DESCRIPTION

Learn the basics of a time proven problem-solving and process improvement approach through highly interactive, self-paced e-Learning followed by scheduled instructor-led virtual classroom sessions to reinforce your learning. Throughout the course, you will work in small virtual teams to complete a simulated project to practice your newly acquired skills.

This course requires about 5.5 hours per week for 12 weeks, of which 4 hours are self-paced independent study, and 1.5 hours are scheduled virtual classroom time. When you meet all the requirements of the course, you will be awarded a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from OpusWorks® Institute.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Lean Six Sigma is a disciplined process improvement approach focused on reducing waste, increasing customer satisfaction, reducing variability, and improving profitability. The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course enables you to become an expert Lean Six Sigma practitioner. At the end of the course, you will be equipped to lead complex projects, blended!

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification VIRTUAL CLASSROOM DESCRIPTION

This self-paced course covers Lean Six Sigma methodologies at the Green Belt level and at the Black Belt level. It is designed for students who know that they want to proceed all the way through the Black Belt level without having to enroll in one course for the prerequisite level (Green Belt) and then a second course for the Black Belt level.

This course requires 22-26 hours to complete the self-paced e-Learning in Part 1 of the course. Because the course is self-paced, a student can take individual modules over a series of a few days or many days, at his or her preference, based upon a timeline that may be established by the customer organization.

This course requires 18-22 hours for Part 2 of the course. A student can take individual modules within a few days or can spread them out over many days, at his or her preference.

Simulated Capstone Projects

Learn the principles, practical application, and best practices of proven project management methods and tools during this 10-week course. OpusWorks'® time-proven and highly interactive e-Learning modules teach the fundamentals, followed by weekly virtual classroom sessions to engage with our world-class project management instructor, and collaborate with fellow students to reinforce and practice your newly learned skills.

As part of this course, you will work through a simulated project management scenario, or Capstone Project, with your instructor and fellow classmates, from initiating the project to closing the project. At the conclusion of the class, you will have learned important skills to successfully manage projects and boost return on investment.

Project Management Essentials VIRTUAL CLASSROOM DESCRIPTION

This class requires between 1 and 2 hours of independent, self-paced e-Learning each week for 4 weeks, with a live virtual session each Monday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST, most concluding by 9:00 p.m. EST.

This class counts as 10 contact hours that can be applied towards your PMI Education requirements.
